Your Role

As a VP of Quality Assurance at Crown Agents Bank, you’ll help define and execute a strategy that ensures our industry-leading Payment & FX products launch successfully and stay reliable. More specifically you will:

  • Own the testing strategy for the Payment Gateway
  • Collaborate across Crown Agents Bank and sister company Segovia Technology, putting in place tooling, processes and automation to ensure the team can ship high quality software
  • Document processes and interfaces between teams to keep our pipeline of improvements flowing smoothly
  • Translate product requirements them into test cases that will ensure the built product meets those requirements
  • Conduct manual testing and coordinate with the Operations team to line up additional User Acceptance Testing bandwidth as needed
  • Work with Product and Engineering to triage and prioritize defects in new features 
  • Advocate for the customer by providing UX feedback in testing, and tracking longstanding bugs and user pain points worth addressing
  • Keep the organization apprised of testing status and roadblocks to ensure transparency and collaboration


You must have:

  • At least 5 years of experience in quality assurance
  • At least 2 years of experience in project management or managing test processes
  • Experience in devising a testing strategy for a product, including when to use automated testing tools like Selenium
  • Fluency in modern task management tools such as JIRA and Asana
  • Experience working in and defining Agile QA processes in a regulated FinTech or Financial Institution

  • A good communicator and natural collaborator who can work with colleagues at all levels
  • Able to spot bad user experiences and suggest improvements
  • Have experience managing a team of testers
  • Proficient in writing automated tests in tools like Selenium
